Addicted to animals
I am officially addicted to Animal Crossing. Maile is also addicted, which is good because that means we can visit each others’ game towns and get cool stuff. Who would’ve thought that such a simple game could be so time-consuming? Of course, school will start next week, so that will probably mean we won’t have as much time as we used to, but hopefully we’ll still be able to see each other, even if it’s not because of the game. I should hope a game wouldn’t be the only reason we’d see each other.

It’s like a zoo in here!
I’m slowly getting used to working a long shift. It’s only been one week since the store switched back to a 7-hour day, but after a year of 4-hour days, it sometimes feels so strange. I think what really helps me get through the day is the fact that I can talk with my friends.
Irene was thinking of returning to bangs for her hairstyle. I remember she used to have arcing bangs, if that’s how to describe them. I’ve never been good at describing hair. George mentioned today that his car is messy, and so he drove one that was “less messy.” Had some cute kids running amok in the store; it’s like a trip to the zoo.
After work I went over to Maile’s house, and we played Animal Crossing for a couple of hours. The game is a lot of fun, and it’s even better when you have other friends you can involve. There’s a lot more one can do when there are other towns to visit.
Today’s word(s):
Ineffable
Infalliable

Crossing animals
I haven’t been posting that often, mainly because of the holidays, and also because my brother is visiting and using my computer to while away the time playing games. I also got Animal Crossing for the Gamecube, and it’s a very fun game. I already know two other people that have it: Maile (which is uber cool!) and George (tres bien!). I’ve already visited Maile’s town, and I came to find out that when I got back to my town, someone from my village moved to her town. In that person’s place is someone new, and I’m assuming right now that this person is from Maile’s town, but I won’t know until I confirm.

Happy New Year!
I had some wine. If you consider three glasses of wine “some,” I had some. I’m feeling it, too. I must be getting old. It was a time of bus’ firecracker, but we didn’t have much firecracker to bus’ this year. It was a combination of high prices and the fact that we procrastinated too long, so by the time we actually went looking, stores either were sold out, or had a very limited selection. The stuff we did get wasn’t too bad, though they were expensive. One of the items we got was something that was a cross between a flare, jumping jack, and sparkle bomb. It was pretty cool. Our neighbor gave us some rockets to shoot into the sky, so that was cool, too.
Tomorrow we have a family dinner to attend, at 1730 hours at the Parc Cafe. I hope Maile can accompany me and be my sexy escort.
